Annual Giving
Join the SafeKeepers Giving Society by pledging to give a minimum of $500 a year for at least three years. You will ensure that lifesaving services will be available to victims of domestic violence for years to come. Matching Gifts
Did you know companies will often match an employee’s charitable contributions? In addition to matching monetary donations, some companies will make a donation for each volunteer hour the employee gives to the community.

Tribute Gifts
You may designate The Family Place as the beneficiary of a gift in honor or in memory of a loved one. Celebrate the holidays in the true spirit of giving by donating in lieu of holiday gifts.
Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds
Make your contribution go further! Donating directly from a stock, bond or mutual fund allows us to receive a larger donation while saving you money on your taxes. Please call Mary Catherine Benavides at 214-443-7770 or email donors@familyplace.org to receive transfer instructions and applicable forms to assist you in completing your gift to The Family Place. You must contact your broker to initiate the actual transaction.
Planned Giving
Make a transformational gift that won’t cost you a thing! Planned gifts provide the resources that create extraordinary opportunities and preserve our future. There are many easy giving options ranging from naming us as a beneficiary in your will to more complex trust arrangements. Please consult with your estate planning attorney to determine the right plan to achieve your goals.
Examples of planned gifts include:
- Gifts by will or living trust — Give to The Family Place without affecting your cash flow during your lifetime.
- Gifts of retirement plans — Your retirement plan may be worth more when donated to The Family Place than to your heirs.
- Gifts of life insurance — Create a significant endowment for The Family Place without dipping into your capital assets.
